GhostVibe Lite: Detect Vibration and Movement with Your Android Device

GhostVibe Lite is a free Android app developed by WorldByDesign that allows you to detect vibration and movement using the sensors built into your smartphone or tablet. It comes with four different visualizations, including seismograph/seismometer, bulls-eye, vortex, and meter, and adjustable sensitivity. The app does not require an internet connection, does not contain any ads or in-app purchases, and does not need any unnecessary permissions.

To use GhostVibe Lite, you must place your device on a flat, solid surface. The app detects any vibration or movement, making it useful for detecting earthquakes, seismic activity, and more. Live data is visible on the screen and is updated roughly 30 times a second. Tapping the screen pauses the app and allows you to access the settings.

The lite version of GhostVibe does not contain logging, but the full version is available for purchase in the store. The full version saves daily logs that you can view later and export in CSV format to other apps, such as your favorite spreadsheet application. You can adjust the sensitivity of the displayed data by tapping the cog icon. Dragging the bar left makes it less sensitive, while dragging it right makes it more sensitive. Keep in mind that some devices have more sensitive sensors than others.
